1. The Radio Dept. - Clinging to a Scheme
It's hard for me to describe Radio Dept's Brilliance.
I guess it's all in the production. that sound, it just breaks right into me.

2. Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
Great easy listening. very relaxed and varying album. Gorillaz does it again.

3. Beach House - Teen Dream
extraordinary because it's so basic. great dreamy sound, for the early mornings and the
late nights.

4. Arcade Fire - The Suburbs
in my humble opinion the best they have created yet. a full length album that is neatly filled
and has no weak moments.

5. Ok Go - ...Of the Blue colour of the Sky
also very enjoyable and innovative Indie music, Ok Go continues where other
Indie-rock bands keep repeating. recommendation: watch all the 5 video's that were made for the album.
every single one is brilliant

6. engineers - In Praise for More
Engineers make the sort of dreampop that distinguishes itself from the mass by creating music rather
in layers than as a mixture of sounds like most dream pop/shoegaze bands.
only problem: the album is way too short!

7. Soilwork - The Panic Broadcast
Soilwork still makes brilliant melodic Death. not scared to slow down for a sec and take the time
to grow to a climax

8. Wild Nothing - Gemini
newbs in the music world and already known as a pioneer in the dream pop scene.

9. Anathema - We're Here Because We're Here
very atmospheric music. the only 2010 album apart from Radio Dept. that touches me emotionally.
has a few weak moments though.

10. Pineapple Thief - Someone Here is Missing
Pineapple thief is one of the most productive Modern Prog bands in the scene, yet they maintain quality and constant variation. this album as well as all of them has yet another approach on the music.
